SECOND COMING is the nuanced, evocative story of a brother and sister’s journey to find their own paths outside the unique religious movement they were raised in. Members of the Unification Church have been called “Moonies” and a cult, but are perhaps best known for their practices of arranged marriages and mass wedding ceremonies held in stadiums across the globe. Can these siblings reconcile their need for family and community with the desire to find love on their own terms? And when family and faith are so closely tied, can you walk away from one without losing the other?
